I was worried about writing on black paper, but all of these colors, light and dark, show up beautifully! They are smooth to write with and pop off the page. I prefer the control I have with these tips (over the paintbrush-like pointed markers that are also available)

I am an artist and am well acquainted with many brands of paint markers from acrylic to oil and metallic. These acrylic paint markers are phenomenal!! The colors are very bright and come through the same when used. After you pull the paint to the tip the first time, you never have to do it again. They are ready to use every time you uncap them. Would definitely purchase this brand again and plan on looking for even more colors!

I like that you can color over other colors and it won't bleed through the paper. They're like paint markers, very nice! I didn't notice any smell but I do wish there were more colors in the package, specifically brown.
