Laptops are Advancing

Context: I use the laptop for word processing, spreadsheets, email, browsing, and Zoom. I can't comment on graphics or video games or any other high-intensity use. Each model provides new features that you have to get used to. The hardware is basic and performance to meet my needs. No waiting for apps to load, or lagging commands. Plenty of storage space. Keys are soft. The touchpad is just right. The number keys are handy. There are no instructions on the keyboard. The only issue, which may be in most laptops, is that you need to take a day getting the operating system to stop providing stuff you do not want to deal with - like an advertising bar, reminders to purchase software, unexpected things popping up, and widgets that you don't want in the screen. For some it is fine but I found it a nuisances. The advances in laptops are a blessing and a curse.
