I've been eating lenders bagels since the 1960s as a child. Back then in Baltimore, not many people ate them except maybe the Jewish people. But my mom always brought some home. I know there's a lot of fancier brands out there now but I always go back to Lenders, especially the onion flavor. Put a little whipped cream cheese on it and I am good to go!

When I was in middle school my close friend's mom offered me a bagel one winter morning after shoveling their neighbors driveway. I was hooked on Lenders Onion Bagels for years. I buy them occasionally as a treat, once a month on avg. Makes the kitchen fill up with a great aroma !
