2 Big Flaws

Seems like a pretty decent door, with 2 main flaws: 1) It didn't come with a key to the lock 2) Why is the seam in the frame on the TOP of the door? Wouldn't it make more sense to be on the BOTTOM of the door to reduce the chances of water getting where I don't want it?
