They connect easily and disconnect just as well, I would suggest using a little silicone grease or O-ring lubricant on the O-rings before using them to make sure they can work best and seal properly. These quick couple garden garden hose connector look like the adapters I have been looking for. These are brass, at least in appearance. Just installed them and time will tell if they will last. I have purchased many other brands of plastic and metal only to have them fall apart or corroded.

Happy with these adapters!
These seem well built and I like that there are no plastic parts. I bought one set, hooked them up and liked them so much that I bought a second set so I can install them on all of my hookups. I have them on the ends of all of my hoses, on my nozzles, and on my pressure washer. It makes changing out hose fittings fast and easy and connecting hoses together is simple. So far I have had no issues with leaking and I am not constantly having to screw and unscrew any components.
