Best value for 100% cotton

I have jeans from more expensive brands and these are at least as comfortable. The denim is a good weight and even though it's all cotton, it does have a little stretch (maybe this indicates a loose weave or other quality "shortcoming" but it makes it comfortable…) which is the best of both worlds. I wish these came with a slight taper but I took mine to a tailor to take 1" out of each leg opening and now they are my favorite jeans. At around $37 a pair, you can spend $25 more at the tailor and still spend less than most fashion jeans, and it's literally tailored to fit. I also wish they didn't have a thread pattern on the back pocket—it would be a cooler product that looked higher quality/more fashionable without the goofy wave pattern on the pocket.
