I used this 9-watt light bulb to replace the 60 watt bulbs in my hard to reach hallway above the stairs. It gives the perfect lighting for this area with a large wall and makes it bright enough to safely walk upstairs. It lasts 15,000 hours so I'm glad the ladder won't need to be put on the stairs again for a long time. We have a dimmer on this switch so it sets the perfect ambiance while not leaving a glare on our television. If you're looking for crisp, clean lighting that will last a long time while saving money and energy this is the light bulb for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love GE brand lightbulbs because it's a high quality brand. I love these refresh daylight bulbs. I replaced the two bulbs in my living room and wow, I couldn't believe how these bulbs really brightened up the whole entire room. We don't get much lighting because of the lack of windows so these bulbs are amazing and really surpassed my expectations. My daughter was always complaining about how dark and dreary the lighting was when she was doing her homework and even she was amazed at the difference. The bulbs do seem to mimic daylight and I plan on purchasing more to replace the current ones in the bedroom.
