DWV015 TYPE 2 Review Update- now with WTC!
This is an update from my previous review, since I couldn't edit it. The 1st review was based on DWV015 TYPE 1 (No Wireless Tool Control). This updated review is based on DWV015 TYPE 2 (updated version With Wireless Tool Control)... After being very disappointed in the initial DWV015 TYPE 1 extractor due to lack of WTC (wireless tool control), Dewalt reached out and arranged to replace it with the updated version, (TYPE 2) with WTC. Never had a tool company go the extra mile like that before. After using the Type 2 version, I am so happy. It connects to my saws, sanders, and sds that have WTC (only certain models and types) so I have wireless tool actuation with those cordless tools and a corded extractor. No need to switch it on every time and no need to use corded tools just for actuation. It's amazing! I also have the Flexvolt DCV585 with WTC and it's great for certain jobs, but this is next level corded power that you cannot yet achieve with cordless extractors...and I can stack toughsystem or tstak boxes on top with the adapter. Been waiting a long time for wireless tool actuation on a full size Dewalt extractor, and it's finally here...thank you Dewalt! Also, please add more Wireless Tool Control tools for the trades!
Clean up pro !!!
Best thing when you done working, drywall dust, clean up mess, this thing sucks everything even bad spirits lol but yes, powerful suction, with genuine HEPA filter with wheels for moving it around. Love it
Dewalt HEPA vacuum needs higher CFM
This vacuum needs a higher CFM. If you use the fleece bags to help save the filters the suction suffers. There is a great need for a higher-performing vacuum, like the Bosch and Hilti, both of which offer a higher CFM and lift. Dewalt needs to step up to the plate. As is , this a a fairly weak vaccum.
