White, Zinsser Drywall Primer-1501, 1 gal

This was a good primer. I really like this brand in particular.

After repairing a 6" hole in my drywall, I used the primer, because there was a lot of drywall dust that I couldn't clean off, entirely, and, though I, normally, would use a primer-paint overcoat, I felt that the dust would affect the finish, so, I opted for this primer. It went on a little thicker than regular paint, but, I was surprised at the smoothness of the finish. I did the entire section of the wall, from floor to ceiling (about 7' high and 4' wide), and could not see any drywall seems or nails or tape. One coat, probably, would have been more than adequate, but, I opted to put a second coat on. I have not put the regular paint on it, yet, because I still haven't decided how I want to paint the room, but, I have no doubt that it will work just fine with this primer.
