LG 98 inch QNED89T 4K HDR Smart Quantum Dot NanoCell LED TV (2024)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved my old TV it was the First LG 3D TV model and I had watched many movies and loved the 3D feel with glasses - it really felt like you were watching the movies at an IMAX theatre. It started to show signs of wear and tear and we were definitely in need of a bigger and brighter TV. The LG QNED 75 inch TV is the best TV experience money can buy. If you are looking to watch your favourite TV shows, movies, games and sporting events - then this TV is definitely made for you. So far I have watched The Witcher and The Crown on Netfix, The NRL Grand Final, The entire Jason Bourne and Mission Impossible Film series and now currently watching The James Bond Film - Quantum of Solace. The vibrant colours, synchronising sounds and gigantic screen means you can watch your favourite shows with a more dramatic sound wave. All you need is to pair this wonderful TV with a soundbar or speaker system and you would be enjoying this TV as if it were a cinematic experience, just bring in the microwave popcorn and bottle of coke and you are set. No more blurry vision or squinting of the eyes - This is the must buy TV of the year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived punctually, but for some people it may be beneficial to have an installer accompany the delivery. Big box and hard to handle, so invite a friend! I unpacked it myself and as it replaced an existing wall mounted TV, it was easy to switch the brackets across and place it on the wall mount. While it wouldn't seem too much to ask, the user manual is not included so you will have to search for this online or download it. I reused my blue tooth soundbar but the setup was a bit unclear. Initially went to TV settings and sound and then selected the soundbar, but after turning TV off and back on, it doesn't automatically go there and start the soundbar up. that required some manual intervention. I finally found the right way to do it after searching videos on internet, but it was a bit fiddly at first. Excellent picture and low glare screen. Image quality sharp with natural colors so definitely worth the investment (at the reduced price). TV speakers and sound is not so great, so highly recommend a soundbar with subwoofer or connecting it to your system speakers, otherwise you are sitting in a tin can with a lot of treble, but that is "par for the course" for most flatscreen smart TV's.
