We were replacing existing bulbs that had burned out. First bought some at Lowe's but they stuck out of the range hood too far and were cool in the Kelvin range. These fit perfectly, and have a warm light that is the same as the overhead and over sink lighting.

Walmart was the answer to my problem. These bulbs are incandescent appliance grade glass bulbs which are getting more and more difficult to find. These bulbs are a replacement for the range hood which can get very hot when cooking on the stove top and utilizing the oven. LEDs just aren't going to work due to their plastic construction and would melt. Walmart had my bulbs in 39 watt instead of 35 watts which was not a problem. Perfect fit because bulb length was a factor too. Fair priced and shipped immediately to my home for installation.

Color temperature is perfect! The lens fluting was different enough that I had to replace the of bulb so it would look uniform. I would definitely recommend if you need a replacement halogen bulb.
