Two radio of the same kind go out in different car

I got two radios, DEH-X6900BT, about the same time. I had the radios install in two different cars. About a year and half later, one of the radios came up with a USB Error 19. About two weeks later, in the other car, the other radio came up with the same Error 19. I contacted Tech Support and did what the tech team told me to do, but nothing worked. I was told that the head unit was bad and I would have to get a new one. I believe if you are going to put a produce out there, it should last a lot longer than a year and half. I don't think I will ever buy another Pioneer product again.
