Unpleasant surprise in a beautiful design

I read about it online. Mostly negative reviews. But could not resist the design. Moreover, I am an engineer and can easily tackle any equipment. But failed. I returned a few pieces to the store, but all of them "work" (do not work) the same way. For this price the product should connect automatically. In my opinion, the manufacturer decided to save money and installed a cheap, unstable communication module. To connect to the network you need to learn courses in radio physics, telecommunications and wave communications management. While it works for me in two modes: On, Off. like an ancient mercury thermostat. I only tolerate this because of the beautiful appearance.

Took 8 months for WiFi to fail

It worked great for the first 8 months. Then all of the sudden the app lost connection to the thermostat. I would lower the temp in the app and about 30 seconds later the temp on the app would just revert back to the initial temp. You have to manually adjust the temperature. Waited on hold for a half hour and gave up. Nothing on the website helps. I was not surprised at all of the 1 star ratings for this product.

Looking for a new brand

I am SOOOO frustrated with these thermostats. Temperatures dropped and they wont work!! no matter if you change it manually or thru the app, it's 19 degrees outside and my house is 66 and dropping and neither of my 2 thermostats will work, they do send alerts saying the temperature is lower than my set up but they wont start the heating, I have changed batteries and reset them a zillion times, even marking I am "leaving the house" and then marking I'm back and SOMETIMES they start working for a couple of hours after spending good 45 minutes rebooting them unplugging them etc, then temperature goes down again and it wont go up. The app and the thermostats have the legend of "heating" but they dont. I decided to do a factory reset in one of them and oh nightmare I can not even add it back to the app anymore, it is not even showing temp or anything really!! what a piece of trash!!! I just can not believe a company like Honeywell (where btw I work for at some point in my life) would manufacture such a piece of junk!! what a way to trash your name and your costumers trust Honeywell!!!
