Loads of capacity

I like these better than the smaller units, despite the weight, for the capacity. I've had one for 5 years & only now replaced the battery. For Linux use the NUT package & I found the 'usbhid-ups' driver works fine with it. Also compatible with Synology NAS products I've used, no problems at all.

I already own 2 of these. I needed a 3rd for a 3rd server. When the power goes out in a storm, which we have a lot of in Florida, these APCs keep my business going. They also do an excellent job controlling surges. I've been using them for over a decade.

just what the dr ordered

I bought this product in preparation for Hurricane Irma, and it has worked perfectly during my use. Even when there are no storms, my area is slightly prone to outages, and this UPS has never failed to provide uninterrupted PC use. During the storm, I had the chance to truly stress-test this product, as I was experiencing multiple power outages a minute. During 40 minutes of PC use, with lights constantly flickering, the UPS logged over 40 events that required battery backup, yet my PC was completely unaffected. After the storm, I was without power for 2.5 days, and the battery kept enough power to charge multiple phones multiple times.
