i wanted to really detox my scalp and hair so I got this and the neutrogena anti-residue shampoo. they both made my hair super clean feeling, not something for everyday use, but great to really clean all that sulfate and silicone junk out of my hair as I changed to cleaner products. i will use this once in a while to help keep a good healthy scalp.

Very good for braids
I've had some braids in my hair for about 3 or 4 months. Have taken them down and put in new hair for each month. My regular wash is ok when I take the braids down. But this product helps with the build up in between. I only apply it to my scalp and use a dandruff shampoo. I love the tingly feeling and how clean it smells and feels. Definitely would recommend for braids, twists, any hairstyle u will keep up for a while. Really helps with the build up and itchiness.
