Very easy setup. I purchased one previous to this one, and I had a terrible time setting it up. I returned it. This one has a great picture, and it works great with my cable control. The sound is good. It doesn't seem to go from normal to loud with advertisements like so many of them do. Overall, I'm very pleased with TV.
