Many years of service

Still going strong after 10+ years. I use Aunt Jemima mix and always spray the surface with Crisco oil spray. Pre-heat griddle until light goes out. Fill area to 3/4 & close lid. Watch for a reduction in steam coming from the sides (usually as the light comes.back on) and your waffles are ready to eat.

Great well-built waffle maker.

This is an easy-to-use small appliance that we have used for years. It's simple, yet very well built, reasonably priced, and produces consistent fluffy waffles that melt in your mouth. After many years, we noticed one of them, we have scratched the non-stick coating by using a metal fork (our mistake), so we ordered a replacement and will be careful to only use plastic or wooden utensils to remove waffle from the waffle maker. Makes me hungry just thinking about my next waffle !!!

Easy to use

I have owned this waffle maker for a couple of months. I like that the sensor light turns off when the maker is ready to have the mix poured in and then when your batter is ready. Nice feature. It's also been very nonstick so far and very easy to use as long as you don't make a mistake and have the mix overflow as I once did and it got messy. But that has more to do with me than with the waffle maker. The only thing I'm not too excited about is that the maker doesn't really stand up on its own. It has to be propped up against something and only on one particular side.
