The replacement drain piece looks just like the previous which makes it easy to not have to replace the drain piece but just rehang the power unit on the old one . You can buy a chrome replacement that looks really nice when you do replace the drain piece.

My old Garbage Disposal was an InSinkErator BADGER 5 and I taught after 25 years it is not available any more, but I found out that Walmart carries the exact model for less than $100.00. The connections to my old sink, my old dishwasher, and my old plumbing were exactly the same, so it was easy to install it without modifying the insisting plumbing configuration. It camewith everything except the power cord and I used the old power cord from my old garbage disposal. The installation instructions were clear and helped me to install it quickly. I just save $300 not calling a plumber.
