The LAMY Tipo is a fascinating pen that combines unique style, a convenient push button mechanism, and smooth rollerball ink. By incorporating the push button mechanism into the Tipo's clip, LAMY has engineered a clever safety system to ensure that the tip can never extend and cause ink stains when the pen is in your pocket: When the clip is pushed down, it hooks into a slot on the pen body. As soon as the clip is unhooked so that it can be slid onto a pocket, the tip retracts automatically!
