Basic Recipe/Cooking Instructions: 4 Servings: 1/2 cup grits; 2 cups boiling water; 1/2 tsp salt. 8 Servings: 1 cup grits; 4 cups boiling water; 1 tsp salt. 24 Servings: 3 cups grits; 3 quarts boiling water; 1 tbsp salt. 1 cup Lakeside Yellow Grits = 3 cups cooked grits. Stir Lakeside Yellow Grits into saucepan of rapidly boiling, salted water. Cook and stir until boiling. Cover, reduce heat to low, and continue cooking for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir well and serve with butter and salt, or your favorite seasonings.
