I THOUGHT THE SHADE WOULD BE WHITE NOT PEACH..I THOUGHT THE POLE WOULD BE BRONZE NOT DARK BROWN.

good, but not lasting

I like the simple style of this lamp, the lighting itself is good. I bought the lamp in 2014 and had no problems till recently. The light was flickering, I got up to adjust it, the top was fine and when I slightly twisted the pole it stopped. It happened again the next day and twisting the pole slightly stopped it. But I saw what looked like dusty gravel at the base. Turned the lamp on it's side and the base and whatever the dusty gravel matter is, had broken off. The rubber surrounding the weight had cracked and was falling apart. Obviously the lamp is out of warranty, so I'm on my own. As I said, I do like the style and have no complaints about the lamp till now. I should add that this lamp is in a corner and is never moved more than an inch or two.

This is not a bronze finish

This lamp does not look at all like the picture online or the description. The finish is a dark grey color and the glass shade is goldish color. If it wasn't such a hassle to send it back, I would.
