Rice Crispy Treats are convenient for boxed lunches or quick snack on the go. Brings back good childhood memories and friends. They are fresh. Shelf life is approx. 1 1/2 years according to the date stamp on the box. They don't taste exactly 'homemade' but taste similarly good. No gooey mess to clean up although the fun of making them together with kids/family is lost. Far less carbs and sugar than individually wrapped snack cakes or brownies and about the same- sugar/carbs as a serving of most store-bought cookies.

Each time I buy a box of these Chewy Crispy Marshmallow Squares I am always delighted to find them being exactly as advertised. These chewy rice and marshmallow snacks are also great conversation starters as it allows me to to walk up to total strangers, point to the packaging which describes them as being "Kids Treats" and explain how even though I am 77 years old in people years, I am still a just kid at heart.
