I bought this as a birthday gift for a granddaughter who is only 1yrs, she absolutely loves it and handles it very well , The caterpillar itself sings and rattles, and it's a lot of fun in honesty, it is smaller than I thought it would be, but its size made it that much more cute. It's about only 10" long maybe but no more then 12"
