Nice unit, Walmart customer service a dissapointme

This is a very nice dehumidifier and I like it. It was shipped without casters and when I called Walmart to ask for the casters I was told that could not be done. The only options were a 5% discount, a full refund after returning or a exchange for a different one. I thought that was ridiculous and then I saw a card from Whirlpool. I called Whirlpool and they immediately said they would send the four missing casters.

Hi To All Great product, never owned a Dehumidifier before, we bought this for our dog that has congestive heart failure and its working perfect to remove the humidity from our leaving room were she sleeps. Its helping her sleep now all night, keeping the air dry. Only problem we had is the company forgot to send the wheels for the unit. I called them and they shipped them out with in 10 days. It does put off a little heat when running, but I think that's just what they do. I do feel guilty for throwing away all the water. So I use it in the garden. We also took out the extended warranty just to not worry about failure. GOOD Product. Not much money to buy us some more time with our puppy.

I am 100% happy with this unit. It is exactly what I wanted and does exactly what I needed. Perfect. I purchased the Whirlpool 40-pint Dehumidifier with the pump for my basement. One person can set the unit up themselves. The unit is quiet and does not bother humans or cats. The unit is good looking. The wheels easily are inserted into the unit. You do not need a hammer. The pump works perfectly. Be sure to press the PUMP BUTTON and you will be all set. The pump hose is included and it does not leak. The unit dehumidified my entire basement on the LOW SETTING so fast. The bucket does have a handle if you decide not to use the pump feature. Good quality brand name. I am so happy. Thank you!
