My favorite movie growing up was the Goonies. I always wondered why they didn't make a sequel. Or why no one else ever makes movies like that anymore. Just fun, adventurous, grab your popcorn and go for a wild ride kind of movie. Well, I finally found one! LABOU has all of the magic of the 80's films I love to share with my kids, but now this is "their" movie! We picked it up this on the holiday weekend, and I think they have worn the disk out already! Every time we watch it, it gets more fun, which is rare with modern kids flicks. My kids also loved the "making of" stuff, which they usually skip, but they watched these several times already. Maybe I have some future movie stars! If you loved stuff like Gremlins, ET, and the Explorers as a kid, you have to share LABOU with your kids!

When I saw this movie at the rental store, my daughter immediately wanted it! I took 1 look and thought, oh great a bad ET remake! Boy was I WRONG!!!! This is 1 of the best films I've seen since the Legend of the Waterhorse!! It IS an original!! Nothing like it in the world!!! It was sooo good, I immediately checked walmart.com to see if they had it! Before I even returned the movie!! I also loaned it to my daughter's 2nd grade class to watch the last week of school! The teacher liked it soo much, she invited 3 other 2nd grade classes to watch this movie, with their class! Not 1 kid disliked this movie!!!Definetly a keeper!!!What are you doing!? Buy it NOW!!!!
