I'm coming to these from the Mack's Slim Fit, and overall I like those better but these are just fine. They're firmer than Mack's, but they also hold up longer as a result. The included silicone earplugs are also surprisingly good! Value for money is fantastic, can't be beat, it's twice the amount as the Mack's jar for under half the price, I think. It's still little bits of foam going into the landfill, but I have to have them to sleep, I live <100 feet away from a two lane state highway with heavy truck traffic, as well as lots of motorcycles and noisy vehicles in warmer weather. My room is at the front of the house, and I'm an extremely sensitive sleeper, with very narrow ear canals, which seems like a lot of specifics to deal with, but these deal with it all just fine.

The best at keeping the noise out

My favorite ear plugs and it use these every night. I wear them all night and it's very comfortable to sleep with. My husband is a terrible snorer and he can be as loud as a vacuum cleaner! I use these and i can't hear him or if he does one of his mega loud snorts, only a muffled version. They do well at canceling noise in the morning as well. I work night shifts, so I use these during the day for keeping out the various sounds of dog barking, construction noise, etc. You can re-use them maybe 3 times before you have to use a new pair. I also like how they have the smaller reusable silicone plugs, but these aren't good for sleeping. These extras do well if you're traveling or just need them because you're in a louder than usual place, like a bus. I'll definitely buy these again!

They're much smaller than other ear plugs I've used which made me a little nervous at first that I wouldn't be able to remove them, but I just don't insert them too far into my ear canal and they work fine. Sound dampening is just as good as the larger ones but they're more comfortable.
