Astepro Allergy Relief Azelastine Nasal Spray Antihistamine, Steroid Free, 24-Hour Relief, 60 Metered Sprays

I started using this for allergies. Normally when my allergies flare up, I get terrible sinus pressure. Normally I use the stuff with steroids but decided to give this a try and my congestion cleared up within 10 minutes. May have been less but it was fast. It does say you may feel drowsy but I haven’t noticed any drowsiness after taking it. You definitely feel a difference when it comes to sinus pressure. Within ten minutes I felt the pressure lessening, and my breathing getting better. I was able to blow my nose and get the gross stuff out. The only downside for me s the taste. Follow the directions. When it says to bend and look at your feet, do it. If you don’t you’ll get this yucky taste that will linger for hours after. The first time I didn’t do what it said and was I sorry. The second time I kept my head down. Third time I bent at the waist and looked at my feet. This is also cheaper than the stuff with the steroids. This has been my go-to for almost a year. I wish I found it sooner.

After reading that this reduces the viral load in your nose, where colds begin, I’ve decided to try it. I am around seniors every day and hope this helps in preventing colds. It does help with my allergies. It’s odd though that the instructions tell you to bow your head when using the spray instead of tilting your head backwards. I believe this is behind the Pharmacy counter.
