LOVE by essie Nail Polish, 80% Plant-based, Salon-Quality, Vegan, White, Blessed Never Stressed, 0.46 Fl Oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved trying out the new 80% plant based formula - it's brilliant and feels pretty much indistinguishable from the regular Essie formula! I have the shade ‘Make the move', and it's a gorgeous dark purple with grey hues, really delicious. Love the packaging too - the LOVE logo is really pretty and the different shade brush top/lid is so aesthetically pleasing (and I imagine is made from recycled plastic - win!). How amazing that a nail polish could be made from 80% plant sources like sugar cane, corn and cotton - so clever. Surely the future of nail varnish?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is excellent in that it is the perfect consistency, self levelling and has surprisingly quick dry time, much quicker than the regular Essie polishes. It is also nicely pigmented, non streaky and offers full opacity in two coats. The shade Make The Move is described as a 'deep earthy plum-toned purple' however it appears more of a brown colour with a hint of purple, in full sun the purple is more noticeable. It is a really unique, unusual shade and I have nothing else like it in my collection. I think it is very much of a marmite shade and a grower.
