Great doll even with underwhelming color change

This was the first Lol OMG doll I've purchased and I was not disappointed. My daughter has had Barbies, original LOL dolls, and other surprise type dolls. The quality of MGA quality and detail stands out. The quality in her hands and feet are impressive for a mass produced toy. I don't pay full price for this kind of toy so if you do, your expectations might be different. The color changing aspect was what made me choose this type. I loved that it could change color without ice or warm water. I'm over getting dolls and toys wet! Sadly the doll has to be outside on a very bright day to change and it doesn't hold for a few minutes like the temperature ones do. It goes back almost immediately. Also, our shoes and hair don't evenly change and the shoes especially are the slowest and patchiest (at least our DJ Bubblegum, maybe we got a weird one). She was still worth what I paid and I now have a wishlist for me of others in the brand.

Bought this for my 5 year olds birthday. Comes with many little pieces, so be wary for smaller children. She was ecstatic to receive this doll. It's absolutely adorable and she loves the color changing aspect. Can change up her hairstyles with her long hair. Cute outfit. My other girls now want the other two color changing dolls. Definitely recommend.
