LG 5.1 ch. Soundbar with Dolby Audio and Rear Speakers - S55TR

Nice! Easy setup. Connected to HDMI (ark) on a TCL Roku tv as well as the optical audio. Used the LG ThinQ app to set up speaker volumes and speaker tones. Then using just the TCL Roku remote I can power on/off and adjust/mute the volume. I downsized from a full feature 7.1ch receiver setup. I'm not an audiophile but sounds good to me. The Subwoofer is wireless. the rear speakers are also wireless (power and pairing are done by the Left speaker, but you do have to run (included) speaker wire from there to the right speaker). The speakers have built in threads on the bottom and back to allow for wall or ceiling mounting (you'll have to buy the mounting brackets seperately). The main soundbar is just thin enough to fit under my TCL 65" tv (was worried I would have to mount the TV higher). The subwoofer is about the same size as my Xbox Series X. I fabricated a simple mounting plate to mount the rear speakers up near the ceiling (see pics). Wall mount brackkets for the soundbare are included but I didn't use them. Getting the LG app setup was a little tricky. First, I installed the LG Soundbar app. Then I learned that app is being sunset so you need to download the newer and full featured (supports many smart devices) LG ThinQ app. At first, the ThinQ app did not detect this soundbar system, so I went back to the old Soundbar app and it prompted me to do an update. After the update, I went back to ThinQ and it did detect my system. Overall I'm very happy with this system and the price was great for a wireless system.
