beautiful and detailed

This is a beautiful and detailed set with several great figures, lots of play potential, and a rewarding building experience. If you like Star Wars, The Mandalorian, or just the N-1 Starfighter, there is plenty to like about this set. One of my favorites, and my LEGO collection goes back to the Classic Space era and even a little beyond.

Great set

This set is amazing good minifigs, great attention to detail, and great to play with. The only thing I would but against it is the back part falls of easily. I my experience i was getting frustrated building the cylinder engines on the side.

The N-1 Starfighter - who needs a Razor Crest?

This is a model of the Mandalorian's latest ship the N1 Starfighter, replacing the Mandalorian's Razor Crest, piloted by the Mandalorian and featured in, you've guessed it, The Book of Boba Fett. Whilst this might be confusing to those unfamiliar with Disney Plus and perhaps buying for a relative or friend, essentially they went down a Marvel inspired crossover of different series, but rest assured this ship will no doubt take centre stage in the upcoming Mandalorian season 3. The first thing to note is that the N1 Starfighter is big, larger then it's 412 bricks would lead you to believe. I mean we're not talking Death Star big but at 42cm in length this ship eclipses any other comparable ship in the Lego Star Wars range. Great for value and playability but maybe a little out of scale for a fighter, being only 2cm smaller then the current Millennium Falcon. But in the age of inflation perhaps we shouldn't complain about getting more for less. And yet I have, it's very confusing. Build time is roughly 2-3 hours, is simple enough for youngsters still mastering their brick knowledge and the free Lego build app is always recommended. Features include a spring loaded shooter, a small cargo compartment and two cockpits, one for the title character and one for his small companion. Size aside this is a very accurate depiction of the on-screen ship and detail is up their with the best of the Lego Star Wars range. The kit includes four minifigures, a good amount for the cost and brick count: The Mandalorian who comes with a jet pack and darksaber for the first time, Grogu, Peli Motto the loud but comically sound mechanic, and one of her worker droids. A well rounded set of characters for playability and for those looking to add to their Mandalorian collection. All things considered this is a great set. Sure ‘it's no Razor Crest' but exceeded all expectations in detail, size, and minifigures and fans of the series and impatiently awaiting The Mandalorian season 3 will love it.
