More of this please

I've been crying out for Lego to return to this type of product for years. The problem with the Classic sets of the past, is that there were simply far too many specialised, modified, pieces and plates, in too many colours that meant building anything simple and cohesive was nigh on impossible. This is just great. As I write, my 6 year old is powering through the booklet and also coming up with his own designs. It reminds of what I had as a kid in the 80s.

Lego lots of bricks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love playing with Legos with my little ones. They have been around for so long, and always a favorite. This is a classic set of 1000 pieces. There's 10 different standard colors. My little ones always want to build new things and I do as well. These are definitely fun for all,ages 5 and older.

Finally a box of basic bricks.

It has been about 10 years since Lego sold a box of just basic bricks. Previous classic sets had a lot of brick types but not enough of each to build anything good. This set is very much like sets of old and has a great amount of basic bricks. Best set in awhile. Very happy.
