LEGO Creator Halloween Pumpkin 254 Piece Building Set 40697

I was telling my girlfriend earlier in the summer over wine that I really hope Lego releases a pumpkin set for fall; I was saddened to see no official set was released for sale but when this GWP came out, my rubber arm was twisted and I filled my cart with the wreath and another set as a gift, but really it was for this set. It was a quick, but fun build -- I admire the designers creativity used in a build this small, the swappable ghost mouth and pumpkin face, and how well the stem and lighting function works as some examples. Talking to friends and sharing the final build result, everyone I've talked to has said they wanted to buy this and were disappointed that it wasn't possible. Lego, if you are listening, please create an 18+ botanical set for next fall that is a large harvest pumpkin that can also be turned into a jack-o'-lantern!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife, who has SMA type 2, was able to complete this set on her own with a special lego hammer. It's the first Lego set she has ever completed by herself. She also, after 33 years, got her first hammer to thumb injury... 3 times. She had too much fun building this. I already bought her the Starry Night set.
