Product Doesn't work with older mac & newer mac
Sadly the online reviews i saw FAILED to point out that this cable does not work when the purpose is to connect a 2015 new iMac to a 2009 old iMac! . . . sigh

Hi, Roly, As long as both computers support Mini DisplayPort connection, you should be able to connect your 2015 new iMac to a 2009 old iMac using this cable. There's a possibility that you might have selected the incorrect Target display mode. You can return to the iMac display screen by pressing Command + F2 on the keyboard.
