Convenience X Efficient X P Range
I have 2 of these & put a lot of hours on them each week. Thei value multiplies with both, 1)the good amount of light on low power, and 2)the bennifits of being able to adjust from somewhat spot to somewhat wide angle. Convenient.

H15R - High Power Illumination
I have the continuous series of LEDLenser Headlamps - always looking ahead to the ultimate design. Battery capacity, design, ergonomics, controls, lumens all excel in the H15R. The only drawback is the 'lack of spot beam' in adjustment. Previous LEDLenser headlamp lens designs go down to a sub 10 degree spot beam but the H15R only goes down to a 'narrow flood' beam of +20 degrees, a very diffused wide beam for a 'spot'. It will be great for certain applications.

Solid
I have so far been very pleased with this headlamp. As a dog musher, I heavily rely on the performance of a headlamp. This light's versatility makes it a go to for simple chores around the dog yard as well as for lighting the trail through blowing snow storms. The dial adjustment took some trial and error to find the sweet spot for projecting enough light yet maximizing battery charge. Great product, yet still a reasonable price.
