Every toddler, boy or girl deserves their first bag of Mega Bloks! It's a great way to use their motor skills, and hand-eye coordination - and helps build their imaginations! I bought this for my 18 month old nephew to play at my house when he comes to visit. He absolutely loves playing with these, and yes he does build things easily and happily. I'm a very hands on kind of person, so I will play with my nephew with these blocks and it just makes for a great bond with him! They're lightweight to use, easy to build with, and kids of all ages love to play with them. I find the 7yr old loves counting the blocks to his little brother, so we use to do littlemath problems. these blocks get their creative side working! they're big enough that pulling apart is no problem. i love that they come with their own storage that makes them easy to put away.
