Great basic dishwasher

Don't know why all the negative reviews on this dishwasher. I had this same previous version which lasted over 20 years in our previous home. The Fridgedaire we just replaced this with was making a high pitched whine so decided to replace it before we had a flood. If you know how to load it and use both detergent cups, it has no problem washing dishes. You should also run the hot water before you start dishwasher to get all cold water out of line before starting. It's not the quietest, but it is much quieter than the 2004 we just replaced it with. And the dry option is adequate. If you are having problems with it washing, then you are overloading it. It's just the 2 of us and I was every 2 days, with no problems.

HERE IS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE GSD2000GxxBB

My apartment was equipped with a GSD2000G00BB which gave up the ghost two weeks ago. I could tell that it was on its last legs because some of the features stopped working before the tub started to leak and gears started to grind. The Handyman Staff brought me a new one today, which is a GSD2100V35BB, which apparently is the direct replacement for the GSD2000G00BB. The new one works fine, and has operational improvements over the old model.

Awesome

I've only had my dishwasher for a few days so far but I love it. It doesn't leak and it cleans my dishes so well that they literally sparkle. I wash a lot of dishes because I have four kids so this dishwasher is my new best friend. Also, GE is a great brand. I also purchased a GE fridge that's coming in next week.
