Things I like compared to others - There is a platform at the top to sit down and get little feet out in front without falling. - There are sides at the top to provide hand holds for maneuvering and sitting. - The steps are large and there are rails beside the steps. - The slide is wider and has a tall edge. - The slide is steep enough for a fun slide but flattens out at the bottom instead of dropping off. I purchased this slide with basketball hoop for my grandson right after he turned 2 so he would have a way to expend some energy indoors through the winter and it has been perfectly age appropriate. It took my husband and daughter about 30-45 minutes to put it together mostly because it comes with 1 special little screwdriver, but one person can easily do it. I have checked and tightened the fasteners a couple of times because my grandson is on it daily. I wipe it down occasionally and it still looks brand new. I don't know that we will be able to use it until he is 3 because he has gained confidence and has stood on the platform and shaken it. Since spring is here, I think I will take it outside and stake it in the ground. Maybe it will get another year or two out there. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase! I highly recommend!
