Couldn't really try out the product as it arrived damaged. Not sure if it came damaged or was damaged during transit but I tried using it anyway hoping I could salvage it if it still worked but as soon as I turned it on it just started smoking and wouldn't stop. Don't think it's useable at this point

The hot plate for me was a good idea but when I finally opened the package the hot plate was bent it and looks a little broken. So I was just hoping for a good brand new one but instead got a dented in one and a little broken.
