I was unsure about this bed for my guest room but after purchasing it and having my mother in law visit I have to say it's perfect! There is plenty of room on the second section of the bed for her luggage or even on the rare occasions that my father in law also visits I now have a separate bed for him to sleep on. I love the extra storage this design of bed provides. It easily accommodates much of my daughter's extra clothing and even some of my wife's scrapbook items. Another good thing is that when the wife is mad at you, this bed is perfect to use when she kicks you out of the bedroom. The men know what I mean. When you're in the doghouse and usually would have to sleep on the couch this bed provides the perfect alternative. Not only do you get a quiet night alone but you also get a comfortable and peaceful nights rest. Just don't let on that you may have started the argument on purpose simply because you wanted a little rest and relaxation away from everyone else for the night. Oh, I almost forgot to mention this bed is also perfect for those nights when you have friends over. Whether it's a guys poker night, a day spent drinking and working on the car or even Super Bowl Sunday, this is the ideal solution when you don't want your buddies driving home drunk.
