Ive used this product for a few years now. it covers the gray %26 the dark brown new growth that appears, for me, every 3 weeks. it allows me the option to dye my hair every 5 weeks, not 3 and keep my hair healthier rather than overprocessed, dry %26 brittle. I've tried other brands %26 types of root coverups %26 its my opinion that this is the best one all around.

I have been using this hair color product for years, just in different colors. I like this color, 4A, very much. I prefer a color closer to my natural hair color. L'Oreal is better than others. I prefer Excellence because it is a creme, which will not drip as easily as Preference. This hair color lasts longer and covers better than other brands. I also got $3 Walmart Cash. I highly recommend L'Oreal and this color!
