I am in my 60's and my hair is almost all silver gray with some dark streaks.Anyone with gray hair knows how dry and rough ( course ) it can be. I wanted something to lighten the silver up and the reviews on this were very good. I was worried it would turn my hands purple at first ( was one of my fears lol ) but it didn't. The shampoo is purple but doesn't stain anything yay. I was also very worried about the smell as I have COPD and harsh chemical smells kill me, but this has a very nice smell to it.I have only used it once so all I can say for now is my hair is so much softer. I LOVE it just for that alone.

Wonderful product!
I decided to go with my natural color now, white. Works beautifully to keep my hair shiny and no yellow or brassiness look. Although I use WEN shampoo daily I use this only twice a week. Wonderful product. Will order again.

A winner!
This toning shampoo is one of the better ones I have tried for my silver hair. I like how it lathers like a regular shampoo-because most don't. Does a great job removing the yellow tones and it is safe to use daily-no yucky stuff in there!
