Love my tires

I recently purchased a set of tires from a third-party seller on Walmart's online platform, and the experience left a lot to be desired. First off, Walmart needs to do a much better job at vetting their online tire sellers. The tires I received looked great online, but once they were delivered, the quality was questionable at best. They seemed off-balance even before installation, and I later learned they weren't properly rated or consistent with what was advertised. For a company like Walmart, this lack of quality control is unacceptable. I also had them installed at my local Walmart Auto Center, thinking I'd save time and money. Big mistake. The balancing machine clearly wasn't working right—there was noticeable vibration right after installation. When I returned to have the issue checked, the technician admitted the balancer had been acting up, and that “sometimes it just doesn't get it right.” That's not something you want to hear when you've just spent hundreds on tires and installation. If you're planning on buying tires from Walmart, I'd say only go that route if you're getting the cheapest, no-name brand for a short-term fix. Paying for higher-end tires and expecting professional installation and balancing? Not worth it. You're better off going to an actual tire shop where they take pride in doing it right the first time. Walmart may be convenient, but convenience doesn't make up for poor quality assurance, unreliable equipment, and the headache of having to come back just to fix what should have been done right the first time. They need to take tire sales and services more seriously if they want to compete with actual auto service professionals. For now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
