It was very easy to assemble. I had my 8yo guy help me and his feeling of accomplishment was obvious. It holds more than I needed it to and looks great doing it. I was concerned with the price of it, but it is of a decent quality. It is made of solid softwood, and had strong sap smell out of the box, but the smell disappeared in about a day. Happy with my purchase!
