perfect for a tub, length and width covers most of the tub and the suction underneath is strong and stays in place. item is made of durable plastic, not cheap and does not slide around once you get it set down and suctioned. TIP: run the water first and press down to help it attach I purchased 2, hoping to get more. Great item for the price
