Brake Chamber Nut Rusted On

I'm a diesel mechanic, so we have a lot of knuckle busters. I'm down here in Houston, and a tractor-trailer came in with a brake chamber problem. This driver runs north and south, encountering snow, salt, and a lot of rust. One of the nuts that holds the chamber on wouldn't move, so I got out the Kroil penetrant with silicone and sprayed the nut down, letting it soak in. I put the impact on it, and it freed the nut right up. Kroil penetrant/silicone is truly a life saver.

Great product

Amazing penetrating oil, was in the trades 40 years, at the start kroil was hard to get but was the best out there. Happy to see it is now available at the big box stores. I believe I still have a drip can from 30 years ago, lol always using it sparingly.

The Nukes had it right !!

I'm a Pipefitter and my first intro into using Kroil was at the Palisades nuclear plant years ago and after using it there I saw it at many other nukes. Every time I used it the result was the same success !! I was sold it's all I use whenever I really have a badly rusted or seized part !!
