"Original"-As Close as You Can Get to the ORIGINAL

The original Krispy Kreme doughnuts are fabulous when rewarmed in the microwave (about 20 seconds for 2 of them). I was surprised at how close they are to being just like the ones in a Krispy Kreme store when purchased as "Hot Now". Unfortunately, this will not be true of the flavored or filled donuts, they just come across as stale if not warmed, and ruined and runny if the are warmed.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are definitely an overrated item. $9 for half a dozen (here in SC) feels like a robbery, but I buy them occasionally because my son likes them. I definitely prefer going to a mom and poo bakery.
