Can use with recumbent bikes

We used this for 2 recumbent bikes. We had to reverse the wheel holder because the span wasn't long enough and had to remove one of the center supports as it interfered with the seats but it worked. For us, we were looking for a cheap, short term solution and this did the trick. The instructions are confusing but manageable. If you buy this product, put the caps on the ends before assembly otherwise you won't have enough room to tap them in.

Excellent value fp $60, shipped free

Heavy duty. Steel with strong welds. I have a 50 lb , 28 inch E bike, No way could I carry 2 of these bikes. Smaller. lighter bikes no problem. Lift the rear of the E-bike Knee high and insert the wheel. Lift the front wheel waist high to get it in the carrier' . I,m a senior and I can load or unload in 5 minutes, Buy a Locking Hitch Pin to lock your carrier to your vehicle. Get a cable lock to lock your bike to the carrier, Cyclists, and hikers won,t rip you off. It,s the sneak thieves that are cruising the Trail Heads looking for easy pickings. (they are wearing face masks and have mud on thier licence plates)

I use it to carry my 2 e bikes on my rv. Works well but for long trips i put pool noodles around the bars not to scratch my expensive bikes. I also zip ties the wheels for extra support bec the Velcro feels like not enough but that's just me being extra cautious. The e bikes are heavy but I am sure a regular bike would be fine without.
