Replacement because of failure & inconsistent manufacturing

Original installed with bathroom renovation 3 years ago. Began to fail after 2 years - no longer supports the shower head - droops. This is not unique to this installation. We had a second bathroom redone and had the same piece installed. 2 years later, it, also, no longer supports a shower head. Second, the replacement did not fit on the original wall mounts. They are about 3/8 inch wider. So, wasn't able to reuse old mounts. Had to remove old mounts, fill screw hole and redrill. Overall, disappointed with the product. Would not recommend in the first place. Look for one that holds the shower head in place.
