Kohler K-26339 Anthem 1-Port Thermostatic Valve

Ok, people I've been 27 years in business, and have seen and installed anything out there. If you pay attention to manuals, there's no better and more practical set up than anthem with 4 ports. Period Now, i've included some photos, i'm kinnda fast plumber, but it took me 3 hours for rough in valve installation using copper type “ L “ Keep in mind this is for my home, so i wanted it perfect. Now when i started trimming all the kit, as i hate reading, i spent an hour figuring out escutcheon plates for 1 body spray. Once i figured it out, other two took me 10 minutes each. So all together i spent half a day trimming the valve with my apprentice which is very smart guy for custom stuff Now the most important thing for people who want to adjust and set the temperature, i would advise to go on YouTube and watch 7 minutes video, and if you follow it, pause it after every step, it is so easy and precise, you wouldn't believe, but gotta be patient. Once you finish it, every plate sits right in, they just klick in, and you're done. I got two Grohe systems in two other bathrooms, and they're nowhere near this set up. I'm building vacation home in Florida, and i already ordered 4 of these with 4 ports, single, and double. Nothing else comes close. I wouldn't recommend these in apartment buildings since they're expensive, and it's hard to explain to a client that you need a whole day for installation only, and i also wouldn't recommend for owners installations, janitors, handymen, or plumbers wannabe Strictly recommend to custom homes only, and installations by very calming and experienced plumber.

I appreciate my decision to go with Kohler. We have had various issues while installing this valve with our plumbers. Some parts broken, missing during installation but every issues were handled by support team with great respect and understanding. After multiple tries by our plumbers and no right installation, Kohler sent their plumbers to take care of the installation issues. Randy's plumbing was given the task and they booked appointment soon after they were given orders and technician arrived on scheduled time, fixed everything within hours. Many days of frustration with the shower installation but at the end with the help of great service by Kohler it is satisfying to see running shower. Word of advise for installing this valve: Get plumber with right knowledge for installing this one. No doubt Kohler is great and Service is also marvelous. Thank you Kohler.
